The Church Hymnal
The shipping was average, nothing to shout praises over, but the material was amazing! The burgundy cloth tape for book repair is an exact match to what many refer to a the “red church hymnal”. The $60+ dollars we spent here saved our church about $500 by not having to purchase new hymnals.

I found this is the best product for what I want to do to repair covers of books and magazines. BUT i will add this: the book repair tape should have a hint how best to separate the backing from the tape. This could maybe even be printed on the inside of the spool form. The other point is i bought the book repair corners to try them out, having no experience using them. This may be obvious to others, but it's not to me. Maybe some kind of hints for using these also. I'm sure if i go back to the website i'll figure out how to use these, but was this necessary. One more thing: i like the alignment lines on the book repair tape ! So useful !

Prices are good, but it was the cloth quality that made it for us. The corners of some very important books were starting to show their age, and we most certainly want to hold off on re-covering them. Taking proper care of them, which includes corner repairs, will allow them to be passed on to the next generation.
